About UsThe Computer and Computational Sciences Division (CCS) is a collaborative organization that solves problems through basic and applied research in key areas of computer and computational sciences and through the deployment and integration of computational technology, simulations and simulation technology, and information extraction methods. The division’s scientific activities are focused on the following three major areas: computational multiphysics and numerical modeling; the application of advanced theoretical developments in computer science to mission-driven applications; and data-driven modeling and informatics.
